Login issues

Having trouble signing in? Try these solutions:

Forgotten password

  1. 1. Click Forgot Password on the login page
  2. 2. Enter your email address
  3. 3. Check your inbox for a reset link (check spam folder)
  4. 4. Create a new master password

Invalid credentials error

  • Check that Caps Lock is not enabled
  • Verify you are using the correct email address
  • Try typing your password in a text editor to check for typos

Account locked

After 5 failed login attempts, your account is temporarily locked:

  • Wait 15 minutes for the lockout to expire
  • Or use the password reset option to unlock immediately

Two-factor authentication issues

  • Ensure your device time is synced correctly (2FA codes are time-based)
  • Use a backup code if you cannot access your authenticator
  • Contact support if you have lost all recovery options

Sync problems

If your credentials are not syncing across devices, try these steps:

    Check your internet connection

    Make sure you have a stable internet connection on all devices.

    Force a manual sync

    Click the sync icon in the toolbar or go to Settings and click Sync Now.

  3. 3
    Sign out and sign back in

    This will force a fresh sync from the server.

  4. 4
    Check for app updates

    Ensure you are running the latest version of the app or extension.

  5. 5
    Clear local cache

    Go to Settings > Advanced > Clear Cache, then sign in again.

Note: Sync may take up to 30 seconds to propagate changes across all devices.

Browser extension not working

If the browser extension is not functioning properly:

Extension not appearing

  • Check if the extension is enabled in your browser settings
  • Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access
  • Try reinstalling the extension from the official store

Extension crashing or freezing

  • Disable other extensions that might conflict
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Update your browser to the latest version
  • Try using the extension in an incognito/private window

Extension not connecting to vault

  • Sign out and sign back in to the extension
  • Check if your vault is locked (click the extension icon to unlock)
  • Verify your internet connection is working

Important: Only download our extension from official browser stores (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons). Avoid third-party sources.

Password not autofilling

When autofill is not working on a website:

Check autofill settings

  1. 1. Click the extension icon
  2. 2. Go to Settings > Autofill
  3. 3. Ensure Autofill on page load is enabled
  4. 4. Check that the current site is not in the excluded list

Website URL mismatch

The saved URL might not match the current page:

  • Edit the credential and update the URL
  • Add additional URLs for sites with multiple login pages
  • Use domain matching instead of exact URL matching

Complex login forms

Some websites use non-standard login forms:

  • Use keyboard shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + L) to trigger autofill
  • Right-click on the form field and select Fill with Leet Service
  • Copy password manually from the extension popup

Tip: Disable your browsers built-in password manager to prevent conflicts with Leet Service autofill.
