Manage team members, roles, and permissions

Inviting team members

Add new members to your organization and start collaborating securely:

  1. 1Navigate to Settings > Team Members in your dashboard.
  2. 2Click the Invite Member button.
  3. 3Enter the team members email address.
  4. 4Select their role (Admin, Member, or Read-only).
  5. 5Click Send Invitation.

Tip: You can invite multiple members at once by entering email addresses separated by commas.

Managing roles and permissions

Leet Service provides flexible role-based access control:

Owner

Organization Owner

Full control over the organization including billing, member management, and all credentials. Cannot be removed.

Admin

Administrator

Can manage team members, shared folders, and organization settings. Cannot access billing or delete the organization.

Member

Team Member

Can access shared credentials and folders assigned to them. Can create and share their own credentials.

Read-only

Read-only Access

Can only view shared credentials. Cannot create, edit, or share credentials.

To change a members role, go to Team Members, click the three-dot menu next to their name, and select Change Role.

Sharing credentials with team

Share passwords and secure notes with specific team members or groups:

  1. 1Open the credential you want to share.
  2. 2Click the Share button in the top right.
  3. 3Search for team members or select a group.
  4. 4Choose the permission level (View only, Can edit, or Full access).
  5. 5Click Share to grant access.

Permission levels explained:

  • View only: Can see and copy the credential
  • Can edit: Can view and modify the credential
  • Full access: Can view, edit, and share with others

Creating shared folders

Organize team credentials with shared folders for different projects or departments:

  1. 1Go to Folders in your sidebar.
  2. 2Click Create Folder and enter a name.
  3. 3Toggle on Share with team option.
  4. 4Add team members or groups who should have access.
  5. 5Set default permissions for new credentials added to the folder.

Pro tip: Create folders for each project or department (e.g., Marketing, Development, Finance) to keep credentials organized and access controlled.

Audit logs

Track all activity in your organization with comprehensive audit logs:

Events tracked in audit logs:

  • Login attempts (success/failed)
  • Credential access and copies
  • Credential modifications
  • Sharing and permission changes
  • Member invitations
  • Role changes
  • Folder operations
  • Export activities

To access audit logs, go to Settings > Audit Log. You can filter by:

  • Date range
  • Team member
  • Event type
  • Specific credential or folder

Note: Audit logs are available on Team and Enterprise plans. Logs are retained for 1 year on Team plans and indefinitely on Enterprise.
