Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale our core infrastructure. You will work on systems that handle millions of secure credential operations daily, ensuring reliability, performance, and security at every level.

• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
• Optimize database performance and query efficiency
• Build secure authentication and encryption systems
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on API design
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
• Participate in on-call rotation for production systems

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases
• Understanding of cryptography and security best practices
• Experience building and operating production systems at scale
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

• Experience with password managers or security products
• Knowledge of zero-knowledge architecture
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Contributions to open source projects
